Old Spice / Powder Puff Games

written by Booster

On Saturday, May 29, the Junior and Senior boys competed at the sand volleyball courts. We had a great turnour and lots of fun.  There were a series of three games and they were a blast to watch. Both sides played hard and in the end the Senior Boys were victorious.

Also, the Junior and Senior girls competed on the football field. This too was a great game. Although the game was flag football, the girls showed they were plenty tough.  Both the Juniors and Seniors played hard but in the end the Junior girls were victorious.

Booster Club Varsity Spring Sports Celebration

written by Booster

On Friday evening, May 21 we held our Varsity Spring Sports Celebration honoring Varsity athletes in Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Softball, Swimming and Track. The auction brought in over $7,800 total for those specific sports programs.

We also announced the recipients of the two – $2,000 college scholarships, Bradley Stewart and Carolyn Rice.

Over 200 attended this Spring Sports Celebration. We had RSVP’s for 165 but over 200 in attendance.  Unfortunately, we ran out of lasagna for which we apologize.   Thank you for your patience and making it work.  We really appreciate such a large attendance and the support of our FWA Families.  We really do have one of the best sports programs in Katy.

Congratulations to all our student athletes.
